Connect staircase cascades through their empty corner cells Water stepping down a one-tile ledge spills sideways and falls within a single simulation step, so the corner cell between two treads is never occupied at render time and a boulder staircase drew as disconnected slivers. Draw the connecting pour through each empty corner — crest riding the ledge surface, fillet off the ledge, flare into the sheet below — and join sheet ends to their pours instead of capping them.
